About Us

Shona Welsh, Clinic Director of Impact Hypnosis, is a Certified Consulting Hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotists. She achieved her hypnosis certification through the Calgary Hypnosis Academy/Advanced Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy Clinic, and also trained in hypnosis and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) with the Master Hypnotist Society of Canada.

Shona was inspired to train as a hypnotist after struggling with issues such as stress management, confidence, and weight gain. Her 30-year leadership career and adult education background led her to search for effective and sustainable strategies to help herself as well as her coaching clients, and hypnosis proved to be highly transformative. In her words: “After experiencing hypnosis for the first time, I saw immediate differences in almost every aspect of my life!”

Shona holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education. She earned and maintains professional certifications in Executive Presence, Coaching, Facilitation, Human Resources, and Innovation.
